If we were to look for a bag to be representative for New York city, this can be the new Maggie from Coach, in it’s simple elegance that turns heads on the street. Maggie is a go-anywhere handbag which comes in four versions of color: bone with brass hardware, mahogany with brass, black with silver and plum with brass. All four colors are very pleasant to the eye, although I fear that the bone one will get dirty pretty soon and it won’t look great for a long time. The shiny cowhide leather surely has a contribution to the overall look of Maggie bags.
The bag is chic, but it’s not too roomy, so don’t expect to be able to carry lots of things inside. You have tote bags for that purpose. This is a handbag for ladies who don’t need to carry so many items with them all day long. The bag has a center zip compartment with two open pockets with magnetic snap closure. I think magnetic closure is cool, but sometimes I find it hard to get when I’m in a crowd and fear for my belongings.
