Louis Vuitton is a company that takes pride in amazing the world by refinement and style. Their bags collections speak volumes about their principles. So does their advertising, which pushes creativity beyond limits.
After featuring Mikhail Gorbachev, Catherine Deneuve, Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi in last year’s campaigns, Louis Vuitton’s campaign for the new spring-summer 2009 bags collection featured six of the most famous top models: Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Angelina Lindvall and Natalia Vodlianova.
Now Louis Vuitton manages to amaze us one more time, with the latest online communication campaign, “Countless Journey, Countless Emotions“, which was awarded the Grand Luxury Award by Conde Nast publishing house and Strategies magazine. The campaign celebrates the first Moon landing of humankind and it features the three astronauts who did it, plus a very discrete Louis Vuitton bag placed nearby Sally Ride. The placement of the handbag is so discrete that I’ve noticed it only the third time I watched the presentation.
I know this is not a bag review, as I usually write, but I really felt the need to share with you this creative campaign of Louis Vuitton’s.
