Coach Bags Collections Comparisons

Coach bags are my favorites. But you probably know that already, as I’ve been writing only about Coach bags ever since I’ve started this site, which was supposed to be about all designer handbags brands. Of course I intend also to write about the others, like Prada, or Louis Vuitton, or Fendi, but for the time being, I’m just fascinated by the Coach stuff, and especially the leather collections.
Coach handbags comparisons: Coach Signature Stripe Floral, vs. Legacy Gigi Leather Tote
First of all, both Signature stripe floral and Legacy Gigi are totes, which makes them very convenient for day to day use, when going to work, or whenever we need to carry with us a bunch of items which wouldn’t fit smaller purses.
As you can see from the beautiful photo above, the signature stripe floral can be called a spring or summer hadnbag, because of the pink flowers which match very well my summer wardrobe. I also have a pair of shoes in the same pink shade, and you can be sure that all looks are on me when I get out in the city wearing this nice bag.
However, I wouldn’t wear this purse when going to an official business meeting, or to an elegant reception or dinner. It is rather a casual model than a haute couture one.
The Coach bag Legacy Gigi is all leather, and it is available in more colors, like this brass / teal you see in the photo, or wallnut brown, or brass / camel, or brass / black.
A bit more elegant than the floral bag, this Legacy model is yet not suitable for dinner parties, but it can go for business meetings which are not extremely official.
The accessories of this bag are very beautiful, and the two exterior pockets can help you to find your items quickly, provided that you rmember in which pocket you’ve put them in the first place.

Where To Repair Coach Bags

There’s probably no statistic on how many women actually repair their bags, handbags or purses. I never do. However, in case you have a designer bag, like Coach bags or some other known and expensive brand, you may want to get it repaired in case of damage.
If you didn’t know, please find out that at least for Coach bags there’s a possibility to have them repaired by the producer directly. All you have to pay for is the shipping and handling tax, which in case you are from US, it is about $20. Coach offers lifetime guarantee for their bags and accessories, and they would fix it for you regardless the reason of the damage.
The best thing is that in case the evaluator decides your bag cannot be fixed, Coach would either send you a new one, or a voucher for discount when you shop for another Coach bag or other accessories. This is what I would call a leather goods company which cares about consumers.

How To Spot Fake Coach Bags

If you want to buy Coach bags online, then you might want to make sure that you buy the real bag and not a cheap replica. Not that Coach bags are very expensive, as they are rather inexpensive compared to other designer bags like Prada or Guggi or Louis Vuitton. Nevertheless, they are not the cheapest bags out there, so they are prone to fakes and you can be scammed.
I can’t tell you there’s a 100% certain method for spotting fake Coach bags in online stores, but the least you can do, is to buy from their original website and not from eBay or Amazon or other sources, especially those were people can put their personal items to auction. In that case, the shop has no responsibility, it’s the owner who posts the auctioned item and it’s his pitch you’ll read on the auction’s page.
The most obvious fakes are the ones which do not reproduce exactly the original bag: for example, instead of the “CC” logo, you’ll see a CG or a GG. This is the easiest case when you can detect a fake Coach bag.
If a bag does not look like the ones you know, then you can compare it with the photos which are published on the Coach website, as they have there all their collections, with a lot of photos for every handbag. If you cannot find a match, you should question its authenticity.
Under no circumstances will a Coach bag have the CC pattern on both the outside and the lining. It may happen that the pattern is not present at all, but Coach never uses it on both the interior and the exterior of a handbag.
If the fake is not so well done, you’ll spot it immediately, because the bag will look sloppy, with irregular stitches, plus the leather will be visibly of poor quality

We started to talk about the Coach Bags collections a few days ago, but we didn’t have the chance to finish our handbags listings at that time. We are going through the remaining bag collections now, and we shall start with one which is not my favorite, but surely has its charm:
Madeline Coach Handbags Collection
The Madeline Tote has a hexagonal shape, and it comes with a zip-top closure. It is a handbag, which means the handles are too short for my taste. I always like to hang my bags on one shoulder, in order to have both hands free. But for women who want to be elegant without exaggerating, the Madeline bag is a perfect match. These bags are available in a great variety of colors: red, black, yellow, blue, brown, fuchsia, or combinations of brown and gold. The small, fancy ribbons attached to the handbags give them a youth look.
Signature Stripe Tote Handbags Collection
The Signature Stripe collection follows the trends of all Coach bags, these bags being defined by a colorful stripe model and leather trim in the upper part. They are very suitable for all day use, for going-to-work purse, or girl shopping handbag. Their size is medium, but it’s enough for you to put inside the wallet, the agenda and some sets of keys. You can choose between the scarf model, the pouch bag, the stripe shoulder, or the scarf patchwork model. All of them are vividly colored and please the eye.
Coach Ergo Bags Collection
More sophisticated than the other collections, the Ergo bags are shiny and soft, and they follow your body’s lines. The choice of colors is rather scarce, but given the fact that they are supposed to be in a note of classic elegance, they are the best in dark brown or black.
The Baby Bags Collection
Maybe the smallest collection of Coach bags, but definitely good looking and extremely stylish, either you choose the Optic Signature Baby Bag, or the New Hamptons Weekend Stripe multi-function. These bags come with extra pockets and a changing pad. Just beautiful and fucntional.

All bags designers try to be innovative and co come up with new models and new things every season. Coach is not an exception, so today there are about 15 Coach bags collections you can choose from.
Soho Coach Bags
This is a downtown bags collection, featuring multi-color signature textiles, printed with geometric designs, everything garnished with leather laces. These Coach bags are suitable for every day use, for going to work, or for meeting friends in informal environment.
Hamptons Weekend Coach Bags
These are casual bags, with striped patterns, and with a size which can easily accommodate lots of items like sunglasses, wallets, keys, and even a bottle of water and a sandwich. These bags are appropriate for outdoors weekends or short trips around the city.
Legacy Coach Bags
Manufactured from design fabric and vintage leather, these bags are very stylish and they have a classic, yet contemporary look. These are my favorites of all times, because they have medium size and few colors, so they are easier to match with the shoes.
Legacy Thompson Coach Bags
Bigger than the Legacy ones, these bags are made of leather and they look like real state-of-the-art models of leather goods. The colors are so warm, and the material is so soft that you cannot take your eyes of them. If you want to be elegant and yet carry a lot of items in your bags, this is the collection you need to see.
Carly Coach Bags
Made of printed textiles, these bags are of medium size. They could be the favorite of girls who like smart casual wear like blue jeans with elegant shirts. The patterns are not so obvious, and the colors are not so noticeable. As I see it, I’d wear such purses during the fall.
These are only part of the Coach handbags collections. It doesn’t matter too much what is your style, Coach has a solution for every woman out there, from the casual ones to the fancy, elegant career women. The best part is that the bags are not very expensive, prices varying between $150 and $1000. Of course, if you want one of the super elegant alligator leather Coach bags, you’ll have to pay $7000 to get it.

Coach Bags

Coach bags are simply beautiful. They can compete at any time with all famous bags brands, while being more inexpensive. I’m not saying that Coach bags are cheap, because they aren’t. But for the average Jane like myself, they are affordable and so stylish that it is very hard for me not to buy one new bag every other month.
Coach Bags Make Friends Jealous
All my friends are jealous, because my bags are always matched with the shoes and with the accessories. It is not that hard.
