Coach Maggie, Simply Chic

December 27th, 2009

If we were to look for a bag to be representative for New York city, this can be the new Maggie from Coach, in it's simple elegance that turns heads on the street. Maggie is a go-anywhere handbag which comes in four versions of color: bone with brass hardware, mahogany with brass, black with silver and plum with brass. All four colors are very pleasant to the eye, although I fear that the bone one will get dirty pretty soon and it won't look great for a long time. The shiny cowhide leather surely has a contribution to the overall ...

The New Peyton Metallic Leather Drawstring Crossbody

December 26th, 2009

We didn't have the chance to review too many crossbody bags on this website, and that's just because I usually don't agree that kind of bags. I'd rather wear a shoulder bag or a handbag, because crossbody bags just don't seem that elegant to me. Yet, I found the Peyton Metallic Leather Drawstring Crossbody and excellent bag for city, for shopping or for hanging out with friends. The pewter - rosegold combination is excellent: beautiful and neutral, it can be matched with practically any other color you'd like to wear. The whimsical look of this bag makes it a good ...

Alex Bags from Coach: New for 2010

December 25th, 2009

Coach is one of the bags designers who never cease to amaze us, although they managed to keep a certain line that defines the brand over many years. You see the new collections, you know they are new, but in the same time you simply recognize the style of a Coach bag when you see it. That's the case with the new Alex collection, featuring the signature fabric, the Op-Art design, yet looking so fresh that it's impossible to resist buying one for the spring of 2010 which is almost here already. I know we are in December, but time ...

Coach Poppy: How Do You Like the Patent Spotlight Bag?

November 10th, 2009

Patent Spotlight isn't a bag for the girls who want to pass unnoticed. That's because it's shiny and glamorous. Made of patent leather with grosgrain, the bag features an obvious patent leather trim. A bit too obvious for my taste, but creating a nice effect overall. The two outside pockets with zipper are placed on the front of the purse, but leaving the central area clear. Maybe these pockets are to blame that the Poppy Patent Spotlight reminds me of a hopscotch game. I'm kidding of course, I like the bag and I think it can be used almost anywhere, ...

Tartan Glam Tote: Newcomer in the Coach Poppy Collection

November 9th, 2009

Bags in the Poppy collection from Coach are aimed at the young generation girls who like to dress well and who are interested in fashion accessories to complete their outfits. One of the tote bags that remind us of the school days is the Tartan Glam tote, with its lightweight tartan plaid fabric overprinted with the Classic Signature metallic symbol. As if the multifunction inside pockets weren't enough, the bag features two outside front zip pockets. However, these ones aren't too large, so you won't be able to put too many things inside. Not that you should, but maybe you ...

The New Inlaid Leather C Brooke

November 9th, 2009

Inlaid leather is simply beautiful. It adds style even to the most common bag. But when it comes to Coach bags, the excellent design combined with the inlaid leather creates an unique effect that makes you feel the urge to go buy the bag, forgetting whether you can afford it or not. The new Inlaid C Brooke, available in two finishes, brass / plum and brass / taupe, is surely one of those bags that will make lots of heads turn. However, not everybody is a fan of the shiny brass hardware and of the metallic Op Art Cs. A silver ...

The New Chainlink Collection from Coach: Just in Time for Holidays

November 2nd, 2009

The fascination of Coach bags is surely strong for many of us, who simply can't resist buying a new bag each and every time a new collection is launched. The newest one is called Chainlink and it reminds us of the black and white movies days, therefore making a very good choice for girls who like the vintage look. Those shades of gray are very elegant and I can't wait to grab one of these purses and match it with my new purple dress, for a guaranteed effect that's so easy to obtain. Op Art Chainlink Maggie Chic and modern, yet looking ...

The New Large Maggie: Space and Style

October 8th, 2009

If we were to define the New Large Maggie from the newest Coach bags collection, my words would be space and style. Space because this bag is very generous with the interior room, while on the outside it looks much smaller. It's a handbag with short handles and it features a center compartment with zip closure and two open pockets with magnetic closure. The shiny cowhide leather is the same quality we've been used to when we talk about Coach. The handbag is available in four colors: amber with copper hardware, black with silver hardware, plum with bras hardware and mahogany ...

The New Madison Audrey from Coach: Pure New York Style

October 8th, 2009

The new Audrey is by far my favorite for this winter. The Plum color with brass hardware is simply fabulous and it matches most of my outfits. However, since not everybody is a fan of this peculiar color, you can buy the purse in three other colors: mahogany, black and amber. The amber version is also very beautiful, almost spectacular, I may say, and I'm positive it would attract all looks in a crowd. It's a modern, yet classic bag, stylish and in the same time roomy enough for accommodating lots of things. It doesn't feature any outside pockets, but ...
