Alex Bags from Coach: New for 2010
December 25th, 2009
Coach is one of the bags designers who never cease to amaze us, although they managed to keep a certain line that defines the brand over many years. You see the new collections, you know they are new, but in the same time you simply recognize the style of a Coach bag when you see it. That's the case with the new Alex collection, featuring the signature fabric, the Op-Art design, yet looking so fresh that it's impossible to resist buying one for the spring of 2010 which is almost here already. I know we are in December, but time ...
The New Chainlink Collection from Coach: Just in Time for Holidays
November 2nd, 2009
The fascination of Coach bags is surely strong for many of us, who simply can't resist buying a new bag each and every time a new collection is launched. The newest one is called Chainlink and it reminds us of the black and white movies days, therefore making a very good choice for girls who like the vintage look. Those shades of gray are very elegant and I can't wait to grab one of these purses and match it with my new purple dress, for a guaranteed effect that's so easy to obtain.
Op Art Chainlink Maggie
Chic and modern, yet looking ...
Prada Handbags Fall 2009 Collection
August 29th, 2009
Prada is a classic by definition. The Fall 2009 Handbags collection is in line with the style we've got used to see from this leather goods designer. An innovation compared to previous collections is that the Prada triangular logo isn't that visible anymore, as it was moved to the lateral side of the bags. That's much better in my view, because I consider this branding being too obvious and intrusive, many times interfering in a negative manner with the bag design. I wasn't able to make it to Milan this year to attend the Fashion Week, but I still can ...
Fendi Spy Bag Selection: Which One Do You Like?
August 24th, 2009
What do you think of when you hear "Fendi Spy Bag"?
I did this test with a few friends of mine, and most of them thought "expensive", "luxury" or "celebrity". Well, this is only partially correct, as one can find a Fendi Hobo Leather Spy Bag for as little as $499. I know that's not cheap, but it's affordable for the average salary girls. Of course, if you want the Fendi 8BR511 Braided spy bag, you have to be prepared to pay about $800, or if your dream purse is the Fendi chocolate leather bag, then you'd have to get $1200 ...
New at Coach for Summer 2009: Poppy
July 3rd, 2009
Poppy is the generic name for a collection of multiple types and styles of bags from Coach. It includes big bags such as the Signature Spotlight, Sequin Spotlight or Patent Spotlight, small ones such as the new Bonnie Mini Frame, the new Bonnie Mini Zip or the new Poppy Swingpack models in magenta, blueberry or licorice colors, or the new Poppy clutches, which are absolute superb for cocktail parties, elegant dresses and high heels.
One of the most special bags in this collection, in my opinion, is the new Rhinestone XL Spotlight, made of heavy knit satin with patent leather trim. ...
Maggie: The Newest Coach Bags Collection for Summer-Fall 2009
July 2nd, 2009
The new Maggie collection from Coach includes 17 beautiful handbags, so every girl can find a match. Actually, it is very hard to make a choice: should I buy a leather Maggie bag or an Op-Art print sateen one, or maybe a polished leather one? Shall it be a regular bag, a large one or a hobo?
The best answer would be buy several, but if you have a budget restriction (and who hasn't one these days?), you'll have to stick to one bag. For me, this choice is the new metallic large Maggie, made of crackled metallic leather, perfectly suitable ...
The New Parker Perforated Op Art Coach Bags: Just Beautiful
June 9th, 2009
Parker is one of the newest bags collections from Coach. Aside from the signature fabric and the elegant accessories we are already used to see, Coach comes with a new proposal: perforated leather bags. Those tiny perforations which follow the op-art pattern give the leather a softer look, so it's almost impossible not to touch it when you see it.
The new Parker perforated Op Art shoulder bag is handy and stylish, with its two outside gusset pockets. Both available colors, the pale green and the gray are modern. I suppose that was the intention of the bags designer to make ...
The New Coach Tattoo Bags Collection for Summer 2009
June 9th, 2009
As usually, Coach is the bags manufacturer who never stops to amaze us. The new Tattoo collection of totes and small bags is all that a teenager could dream of when it comes to bags and clothing accessories. All bags in this line, be them those elegant canvas totes, the glamorous New Tattoo Magazine tote in silver and gray colors, or the New Tattoo Canvas Extra Large tote, all of them proudly display the Coach tattoo graphic on the front side and a leather trim which offers resistance while reminding us of the Coach style. The black model sold like ...
The New Ali Bags Collection from Coach: Style and Ergonomy for Year 2009
June 9th, 2009
Coach bags have just added two more collections to their already amazing portfolio of leather goods: Ali and Tatoo.
The new Ali collection includes hobos, flaps and small handbags, all of them very modern, however with a hint of classic, reminding of the well-known and appreciated Coach style. The new Ali hobo is made of pebbled leather, available in white and mahogany, pearlized leather, available in tangerine color and metallic leather, in gold. The cutout charm adds a special note of freshness to this classic hobo. There are enough inside pockets to accommodate several small items that need to be found ...
