All bags in the Coach Madison collection are so elegant and modern, yet without losing the classic touch that makes them a fit for any occasion and any outfit. For the fall of 2009, Coach has prepared more than 60 bags of all sizes and colors, with or without the op art fabric, from crossbody small bags to shoulder bags, totes and the outstanding satchels which are among the best, in my personal view.
The Madison Sabrina satchel is available in five colors: grass, black, light gray, ginger and walnut. Thanks to the 22″ convertible strap, these bags can be worn as satchels or as shoulder bags, according to each customer’s preference. The strap is detachable, and it snaps to the bottom of the bag in case you don’t want to detach it when carrying your bag as a satchel. The handles are 11″ with 4″ drop. As the leather is very fine, with a polished finish, the only cleaning method recommended by Coach is a damp cloth. No moisturizers and cleaners are allowed, even if they belong to the Coach bags maintenance range.
The simple Patent Sabrina satchel is the glossy sister of the above mentioned bags, as it has the same shape and sizes, the only difference being the leather, which in this case has a subtle crinkled finish. Available in two color versions, Cobalt blue and Graphite, this bag has silver hardware and it can be bought for $358 from the Coach official website. If you’re the type of girl that likes to shine and get noticed wherever she goes, you may check out the Patent Sabrina with chain, available in three colors: coral, camel and plum. These are a bit more expensive. You can have one for $458 on the Coach site.
If you want something a bit less expensive, take a look at the op art Sabrina range, with bags very similar to the previously mentioned ones, but instead of leather, using a Op-Art print fabric with lightweight leather trim. Colors are superb, as usual, when we talk about Coach bags. My favorite is Amethyst.
Should you have $798 to spare on a new bag for this fall, check out the new Studded Large Sabrina, as that’s a very stylish and beautiful bag. You can have it in black or espresso, with brass hardware. The studded detail design is excellent and the leather is very soft and enjoyable to the touch.
Last but not least, don’t forget that for each bag model, Coach has a matching wallet.
