If we were to define the New Large Maggie from the newest Coach bags collection, my words would be space and style.
Space because this bag is very generous with the interior room, while on the outside it looks much smaller. It’s a handbag with short handles and it features a center compartment with zip closure and two open pockets with magnetic closure. The shiny cowhide leather is the same quality we’ve been used to when we talk about Coach. The handbag is available in four colors: amber with copper hardware, black with silver hardware, plum with bras hardware and mahogany with brass hardware. This mahogany is really interesting, but I wonder how difficult it would be to find matching shoes.
Nonetheless, I see the new large Maggie a a perfect fit for the office as well as for less formal parties.
One thing I’m not very fond of: the upper side is smaller than the bottom, and in my experience with purses this means trouble, because if you don;t use the pockets to put your stuff in, you’re going to have a damn hard time finding it. The visual field is very limited, so you’ll have to put your hand deep inside the bag and start moving it until you reach what you think to be the item you were looking for.
